REPUBLIQUE
GRAND-TACTICAL NAPOLEONIC WARFARE IN MINIATURE

General Order of Battle for Bussaco September 27, 1810

This order of battle has been optimized for grand tactical game play. Some historical formations at brigade or divisional level may have been merged or re-arranged in order to match the recommended tactical unit sizes, the list also includes some formations in the immediate vicinity of the battle who may not have been engaged. The three independent Portuguese divisions have been rolled into Hamilton's Portuguese division, but as with any pre-battle preparations, those divisions can be re-assigned as needed. The British dragoon guards may be a better morale level than the dragoons they are brigaded with. If detached for assignment elsewhere, consider giving them veteran grade morale.
