100 BC
ALPHA
GREAT BATTLES OF THE ANCIENT WORLD
Below is the alpha version of the new 100 BC wargaming
rules for ancient warfare, which uses WTJ's Republique rules engine to recreate warfare in antiquity. Each portion of the rules is being reviewed for period effects and updated where research guides us.
These rules (now just a combat chart and some supporting troop stat text) are extremely developmental and we encourage players to email comments and suggestions to webmaster@wtj.com. Last update: April 18, 2025.
These rules are suitable for use with all
standard miniature wargaming figures, and currently offer the combat charts
needed for game play. The charts and supporting texts (if any) are completely free and no purchases are
required. Prospective beginners who want to learn more about miniature
wargaming will enjoy reading
