INVISIBLE ENEMY
MICROMACHINES AT WAR

MGV Forces and Orders of Battle: Japan
Japanese MGV forces are manufactured at the main L5 stations. Their physical attributes are little known, although they are unquestionably the most dangerous units in service throughout the solar system. They have never lost an engagement and they use their control of MGV secured battlezones to police up their own hardware - another reason why their designs are little known. It is said that their MGVs have often destroyed well over half of an opposing force before the other side comes within range of their own weapons. They are notoriously difficult to destroy.

Japanese MGVs have occasionally made an appearance during battles between two other nations, usually when their own interests are somehow at stake. In some rare cases they have appeared and destroyed both sides of an engagement. The one thing Japan rarely does is interfere in Californian affairs, but then again California rarely gives Japan reason to do so. Otherwise all bets are off (so to speak).

Japan could be considered politically isolated, but a closer sense of the truth is that Japan probably has little need for close political ties and so does not avail itself of them. Japanese contact with California seems mostly a result of a surprisingly sentimental commitment to near-ancient agreements, but that is a very un-Japanese impression. To the Japanese, their fulfillment of ancient commitments makes perfect cultural sense.

No order of battle is available for Japanese MGV units or formations. They appear in varying group sizes and support ratios and only two vehicles are known - both considered dangerous.

Japan's tech level is 10.
