MICROMACHINES AT WAR

MGV Forces and Orders of Battle: Mediterranean States
The Med States have a close working relationship with Australia and share much equipment and technology with them. The two main manufacturers on Malta (Med States' capital) are Schimdt-Geissen and Caffarelli. These two competitors have a certainly commonality to their designs, mainly due to armed forces requirements. Med States MEK units tend to rely on Class C weaponry, which is the guided delivery of chemicals or "smart corrosives." This builds on an earlier belief in the future prospects of the technology which, while partially incorrect, has not kept the EU from making these weapons systems the mainstay of their MEK forces armaments.

The Med States have had several wars with the Cape Union, and over 100 years ago disputed some highly desirable island territories with Selangor. They have a reasonable political understanding but no technology agreements with California, and like most nations they have virtually no contact with the Japanese. Relations with Selangor remain cool and will likely remain so, as long as that country remains at war with the Med States' working partner Australia.

Below is a listing of common Med States (EU) MEK formations currently in service:
